Our path ran through addiction first. Then through Longview, looking for a house that could hold people who wanted a different life — and finding too few of them.
Robert and I have both known addiction in more than one form. We live here. We see the need for safe beds, a substance-free house, and peers on the same path.
What was missing was simple: Level II housing with a manager, clear rules, and accountability — not a hospital, and not a place that was unsafe to land.
Residence Recovery is that house. Treatment stays off-site. Kindness and respect stay in the house. Neighbors in recovery do the daily work together.

Mission
Residence Recovery LLC provides safe, substance-free Level II housing in Longview, Washington, for persons in recovery from a substance use disorder. We keep a structured, home-like house with a house manager, clear rules, and peer accountability. Residents are met with kindness and respect. Treatment stays off-site.
Vision
Cowlitz County has honest, home-like Level II houses where adults in recovery from a substance use disorder can live with dignity, safety, and accountability — good neighbors, substance-free homes, and a fair shot at stability.
What this is
Two fourplexes in Cowlitz County, operated as Residence Recovery LLC. Substance-free, monitored housing. Clinical treatment stays off-site. We are not Oxford House, Inc., not a hospital, and not accredited until WAQRR says so.
